about

Was written after my first trip to the Gili Islands.

Where I was able once again to feel the raw energy and essence of The Indonesian archipelago and experience some of the secrets she keeps within her waters.

lyrics

Land of a Million suns

In the land of a million suns the light had just begun
revealing as she swan the queen Lemur
as the tide begun to change the land recalled her name
and she rose up all the same and said it’s time
she said it’s time to gather round & time to hear the sound
and finally feel your feet upon the ground

and be free the run free to climb free to finally realise and
why a heart that’s with the sun believes you are the one
believe’s in you and that your time has come, come..

I told her everything about a man that’s from the sky
as I climbed that mountain needn’t I ask why
at an all revealing height rose up through the light
and I heard her whispered sigh.. say be (chorus)

when this moment takes a hold she’s a livin’ she’s forgiven
when this tide is only rollin’ she’s a livin she’s a givin’
all the time all the way, all the time yeah..

chorus
